“She was just an innocent girl,” she said.
“She just wanted to be a normal little girl.”
The mother of the slain woman and her two daughters is calling for the state and the FBI to take responsibility for her daughter’s death.
Melissa Johnson is a mother who has dedicated her life to protecting her daughters’ innocence.
“I’m really heartbroken,” she told ABC News, adding that she believes her daughter was abducted and killed by a stranger.
She also said that her daughters were abducted in May 2016 and killed two days later.
Johnson said that while she had known her daughter for five years, she was shocked when she learned of her daughter-in-law’s death this week.
I just can’t believe it, I can’t understand it.
I can only pray for the other two girls, and I can see how my mom would feel,” she added.
While the FBI has not commented on the investigation into the deaths of her two girls in custody, Johnson said she believes that the girl she lost was taken from her by a “bad guy” after she told the mother she had a boyfriend and was planning on going to his home.
ABC News has not been able to reach the FBI for comment.

In a statement released Friday, the Department of Justice’s National Center for Missing and Exploited Children called the incident “one of the most devastating in the history of the agency’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Program,” according to the Associated Press.
“This tragic incident has resulted in the deaths and injuries of four children and has affected many innocent victims and their families,” the statement said.
The statement added that the agency has a “very high” risk for kidnapping, but said that it was in “full control” of the investigation.
Authorities said the van was parked in front of a home in the 400 block of North Main Street, in the city of New Orleans.
After officers pulled over the van, a man got out of the vehicle and told officers that he had a knife and that he wanted to stab a child.
Police found the children inside the vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
