There’s a new Nintendo title on the way and one of the best examples of its art style is the Super Mario World: Deluxe Edition cover art.
This is a huge fan favorite.
If you’re like me, you love the art style and the fact that it’s so easy to make.
But even more so, you really want to make your own cover.
I did this myself when I was first learning to paint.
So I was super excited to try it on the cover.
But then I realized that there’s nothing like doing it yourself, right?
You can find instructions on how to get started with this process on my site.
I’ve also included a free printable for you to print and paint yourself!
But what you’ll need is a paintbrush.
The paintbrush is the easiest tool to use and I think that’s what really made the difference.
The process can be very time consuming and if you’ve never done this before, it can be frustrating.
But it’s worth it if you’re willing to do it.
I used my favorite color of green to paint the entire cover.
This green is what you see in the picture above.
You’ll want to take a photo of it and add it to your portfolio.
If it looks too dark, try going back and adding some highlights.
Here’s a tutorial for you.
If there’s no way to see it in the image above, try this technique: Start with a clean white background and fill it in with a thin layer of paint.
If the color is too dark or too dark and saturated, add a second layer of the same color.
Add some more highlights.
Once you’re happy with your result, take a picture.
This will be the original cover.
Once your final picture is taken, add another layer of white to it.
It should look like this: Now that you’ve painted the entire picture, add your artwork.
You can use this method on the title alone, or it can also be combined with the Mario Paint tutorial to create something completely different.
I’m sure you’ll find it fun to paint!

And if you don’t have a painting or art brush, you can use any type of paint you like.
