When does the UFC’s Octagon get the spotlight?
And when will you be able to see your opponent?
That’s what fans and journalists at the Bell Centre are asking as the UFC returns to action for a seventh consecutive year on Sunday.
On Thursday, Bell Centre president John Zugibe tweeted that the UFC was “scheduled to return to action” for the first time since November 2015, which was also the last time the event was broadcast in Canada.”UFC Canada and Bell Centre will be taking the stage in Vancouver on Saturday, October 21, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.

“Fans can watch UFC Fight Night: UFC 206 live on UFC GO.
The Bell Centre’s new premium viewing experience will offer more than 200 hours of high-definition content, including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive behind the scenes highlights, exclusive live fights, exclusive UFC coverage, exclusive pre-fight interviews, exclusive post-fight photos, and exclusive video highlights.”
Bell Centre will also feature exclusive content on the UFC website and Facebook, including an interactive live stream and interactive video on the Bell Sports app.
“The event will be held at the newly renovated Bell Centre, located in downtown Vancouver, B.C., about 50 kilometres from the Bell Canada Centre, home to the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks.
Bell Centre president and CEO Peter Fagan said that Bell Centre was thrilled to host UFC Fight Nights on Oct. 21, a show the UFC had not done since November.”

“Bell Sports chief executive and co-owner Dan Beckman said the Bell Sport Network, Bell Canada’s streaming service, was also expected to stream the Bell Fight Nights show live on the network.
Bell Sports is the exclusive distributor of UFC Fight Pass, a subscription service for sports-entertainment fans.
Bell has a long history of broadcasting UFC content, with the company first broadcasting the UFC in 2000.
The UFC went on to host seven UFC pay-per-view events between 2001 and 2012, and has been a fixture at Bell Centre for the last 15 years.
Fagan said the UFC will be the first UFC event in Canada that has not been broadcast live in the U.S. in 15 years, as the promotion has yet to hold a UFC event outside of the U: States.
Bell is a joint venture between Bell Media and Bell Canada, which is the parent company of CBC and CBC Sports.
The two companies also own and operate Bell Media Networks, the country’s most-watched sports network.
The company is a part-owner of the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes and is the official broadcaster of the National Basketball Association.
The Bell Sports Group also owns and operates Bell Media Network, which has broadcast UFC events since 2004, and the CBC Sports Network, the national sports broadcaster for the CBC.
The broadcaster has a combined annual broadcast income of more than $1.3 billion.
